Bel air road supply used to carry black beauty not black diamond but I use white now instead of black so I didn't pay attention the last time I went. They have like 4 different grit sizes all the way down to super fine. All the black sand is kind of gritty because its not silica. It's coal slag. No one uses silica to blast anymore because it causes a ton of lung problems.

Yes they have the white. Colors vary. The batch I got last month and all the ones prior were pure white like the expensive stuff in the pet store. The three bags I just got last week had specs of black. I actually like the black in this batch so it was ok with me. The white for sure is safe as it is silica sand. The black I'm not sure because it is essentially coal slag and not silica but alot of people use it.
