I started going back in time on this forum to see if I could steal a thread and bring it over to "that other forum" (LOL), but I think I have "borrowed" just about every idea that you have come up with Pat.
Back in the 90's I was on a Miami Dolphins AOL Forum.
I can remember the very first time that I went onto the internet I looked up two things, where to get different types of hot peppers and I read all of the Miami papers about my Dolphins.
Fishfan13 was taken, so I added the "c" (German spelling for fish, even though I am not German).
fisch = Dolphins
fan13 = Dan Marino fan.

Ummm, I'm not very creative, LOL. On other forums I've used heartogold or zaphodBB because I'm a huge Douglas Adams fan, but when I got back into fishkeeping, the local clubs seemed small enough and social enough that using my actual name made sense to me.

I got my name from well I am a NY sports team fan. Love my Yankees, Giants and Rangers (capitals too shhhh) and 78 is the the year i was born in. I first created this name when I first signed up for AIM back int he day. Its my name for every forum and all. Thats my story and I am sticking to it!!!
