Some of the stories were interesting.
So I stole it.

Well Jumbie is a real word it means Ghost in the Caribbean it’s also the name of a beach on St.John's...somehow my friends and I were infatuated with the word and before I knew it they replaced my name with it. Goes to show you what good friends I have lol.

Cartel

I was joining my first forum years ago back home and couldnt think of a handle. I happened to be reading a book on Pablo Escobar at the time so I said what the heck good enough for me. At car meets people came to know me as Cartel and not Wil so it stuck every forum im on now I use Cartel.

msjinkzd

iamzrad is a what I am, get it? Haha.

Back story. My last name, to some, is hard to pronounce and actually spell. In high school, I switched a letter in my last name (which is Sieradzan, pronounced Cher-Odd-Zon). I put the "z" in front of the "rad" and boom, ZRAD was born.
Now I use it as my identity and brand (graphic/web designer).
People always try to say the name as one whole word. But it's pronounced, "zeerad"

Oh, to those wondering, I had the "i am" thing down well before it became mainstream and then Jeep stole it last year lol.

It also might have to do with my brand loyalty for Apple, or not.

DiscusnAfricans

It's my old adult dancer name...........not kidding.
I knew we met before the club, I just forgot it was through work:eek::lol:.

My name comes from the fish I keep, although it isn't balanced anymore. When I joined the forum I had one discus tank and one african tank. Now I have one discus tank and eleven African tanks.

SubMariner

Master Jedi & Past VP
My user name is from the famous underwater super hero Submariner, who was a comic-book character in the Marvel Comics Universe.

I have used Finman for many years.
Someone called me Fishman one time and I switched it to finman. Heck my sister thought it was funny to make me some letter head with
The Finman
A division of Kelly Enterprises, LOL
That was at least 20 years ago. Possibly 22.
When I got my first email address I was finman.
When I changed to Comcast, Finman was taken. Had to go with the 57 for my birth year.
Now I have to go with 1957 when I switched to verizon.

danger_chicken

Swim Fishy Swim!
The name danger chicken came from a friend that had a fox(es) get in his chicken house and kill all but one that managed to get up in the rafters (where he found it the next day still skaking like a leaf). Just as he was finishing telling me the story of the foxes, the lone chicken started strutting across an open field like there was nothing to worry about. My friend said "oh look there goes Danger Chicken now". The timing of the chicken with the story and my friends sense of humor made the name stick with me.

I use it in online war games. It fits me good, if I'm better or bigger than you I'll kill you. If you're better or bigger I'll runaway!

Leffler is my last last name and 8/17 is our anniversary. I started using this once we got married and I did not want to be one of those guys who forgets their anniversary. Yeah, its hokey. :)

Tony

Alligator Snapping Turtle/Past Pres
It's shorter than typing Anthony. ;)

On other forums, I've used the handle mokujin22... Mokujin being from the classic video game fighter, Tekken. 22 being my lucky number and birth date.

But here... figured it was small enough that I could use my given name. Easier to remember that way. :)
