You can also jump start (in addition to media from other tanks) with Dr. Tim's One and Only, which I've used quite successfully a number of times. It's hard to get locally, but you can order it online. The guys who are on the TV show "Tanked" also has a product. I can't verify how good it is, but given that they dump thousands of dollars of fish into new tanks on the show, it's gotta be good!
