We're moving!

Just as a side note, I moved my two 75's and my 125 with about an inch of substrate with no ill effects. A friend of mine has moved his 55's numerous times with about 2 inches of substrate with no problems. Just sayin'...
And, I know, Becca, that you couldn't move it with the substrate anyway.
Where are you moving, by the way? You are in the Village now, right?

We're moving to Damascus, about 20 minutes north of where we live now, but a MUCH better neighborhood with a lot more space :D.

was vetoed

Does your future neighborhood allow rain barrels? (I think Sam's got an extra.)

I KNOW - it seemed like a perfect plan, but I've been strictly forbidden from bringing home more stuff that we'd have to move in a few weeks.

You will be surprised how much the "poop" will stand out against truly black substrate.

it's like having a calico cat....doesn't matter what you wear, you' see the fur no matter what.

The worst is feeding NLS to fish in a tank with black substrate!

Or, even better....that time that a friend's kid fed my fish pink, orange, and turquoise Play Doh. There was black sand in that tank....and let me tell you, nine out of ten Mainganos prefer pink Play Doh.

you're welcome to store the rainbarrel at my place under the deck till you move. I won't even use it! (I have my own).

I'll have to think about that... between the home inspection and my SIL's wedding this week, I'm finding myself short on time - if I can work it out, I might take you up on it.
