The start of the fish room remodel.

Those jet lifters are amazing
I love them

Yeah, I may just have to buy some more of them the next time I see him.
Hoping to install a bunch more foam this weekend. Still have a full sheet. Will put them in the backs of my 10gallons again. I have the 10's on end so its actually a side you see when you look through. Should be able to make a bunch of them from that
full sheet.

Also want to experiment.
I still have a bunch of dirt magnet filters that I use on the road and in small tanks.
Some of the sponges are now gone and they don't make them anymore.
Thinking I will use some of the scraps from making the 55's and try to make replacement sponges for the dirt magnet bases.

I always loved the Dirt magnet filters because they are not tall and fish can not hide under them. Easy to pull for fish trips.
I know that Lee's makes something that looks like it. I just ordered a few to see if they are the same or not. But I have leftover pieces of the good stuff. Might as well try.

A few bases with the lift tube cut down to fit in the smaller containers for the road.

I have some in the tanks all the time so that I have them ready to pull and take with me to a convention. I use them in the tubs above both when I take fish with me or just in case I find some fish I just cant live without while there. lol

Oh I have some of them. Didnt know there was a different name for them. I just thought they were sponge filters for smaller tanks. They're great for shallow tanks or lower water levels which is why I have them.

Yeah, they were called Dirt Magnets and were made by Jungle.

Made a couple to try. Also got 4 cut to fit 10's while waiting for warm water. Got a bunch more to cut.

Spring means I can start work on the last stands. I can get back to working some wood and staining.
But in the mean time I plan on starting to take down all the temp housing. I only have fish left in 7 tanks out there. I can get 2 out of 3 stands down very soon. I hope.

IMG_0244.JPG Decided it's time to take some of the temp housing down.
Since you can buy new so cheap, I figured there was no reason to try and sell the 10's.
I loaded some up.

update on the room?
My update is nothing has changed.
Too much going on and I have not done anything other than maintain what I have going. I need to get back to work on the room but no time.

IMG_0444.JPG IMG_0444.JPG IMG_0444.JPG I really need to get back to it soon. I have not pulled many holding females lately but I am getting a few from my Jalo group.
Just popped out a few fry a couple days ago.
