I noticed free swimming Strawberry apisto fry this morning. I am going out of town next week, so there is a good chance they won't make it. However it is encouraging to have them spawn.

I have a little java moss.
I could definitely use some more java moss and a microworm culture. Does anyone have either I could buy at the meeting?

Alternately you could bag them up and I'll throw them in with my Ram fry and split the survivors with you. I also am able to bring you some Java moss if you prefer the more 'faith-based' approach to rearing.

You don't want any of that Vesicularia dubyana ssp. calebcooties anywhere near your tanks - much safer if I give you some moss instead.

sam might be right it causes excessive breeding and fry survival....

I have another spawn. I have had a few survivors here and there(3 total). I am going to try remove all the other fish(except the female) with this spawn.
