Wonderful talk today. I learned lots about some very cool fish that weren't on my radar but I''m rethinking some fish options. Good job.

Wow!!

Sarah, what a great job you did... are you sure it was your first talk?? Very professional presentation, interesting topic (well duh! We keep the same fish!!) and nice different spin on it imo. Well worth the trip!!!

Thanks for all your hard work putting it together...

Yesterday's meeting was a good one. It seemed like we had good turn-out, several new members, covered all the bases (good presentation, raffle, time to chit-chat, decent auction)...and even managed to get out at a reasonable time.

What more could you ever want?

Thanks again everyone :)

Peter.... that is the biggest compliment. If I got one person interested in Petros or Sand Sifters I'm a happy girl!

Sarah your talk was very good. It's nice to be able to get a fish that's new to you but have confidence that you'll be able to keep them because someone you trust has already been through the trials and error. Thanks for the guidance.

As usual the Dark Side(Tanganyikan) is always probing and searching for ways to pull us Central/South American keeps into the abyss. Anyway I was doing fine until she showed pictures of Limnotilapia dardenni, now I have to have them(Curse you Red Baron):wub:

I'll keep an eye out for you. I know the one person I mentioned has them but not sure if he has fry or not.

You could always try Steve Ewald ( the guy that took the great land shots of the lake in my talk ).... valleyaquatics.net He might be able to get them in for you.

I loved them when I had them.... I can't remember for the life of me why I sold them  Kept them for a good two years? Yun ( on CCA) also kept them.... but I know he sold his. So he might have some experience as well to share.

Great talk Sarah! You've already helped influence me to try a few groups of Tangs, and theres definitely more I'd like to work with now. Just need a few small tanks for some sand sifters and huge tanks for everything else:lol:.

The information was better than anything we could find in a book. I'd rather hear it from an expert like you than someone who read a few papers and thinks they're an expert. I know Tony is looking for some more of those peaceful callochromis you were talking about;).

I would also like to thank Sarah.
I know getting ready for this must have been nerve racking but it seems like everyone on here thinks it was well worth it.

Thank you for stepping up and helping the club in a big way.

Now we need to get you out to other clubs to talk. I am sorry I was not there. I will try to hit your next one on the road. Hmm, maybe I should email The Bermuda Fryangle guys?

I know the 2 members of my club that were there told others about the program and I have had a few requests already for next year - Now if Pat makes a few more ACLC meetings.....hmmmmm

Well, I have informally been asked by another club.... way farrrrrrrrrrrrr away :) Chicago 2011 :)

We'll see.... kinda cool for it to happen so quick!! :) Dunno the details or if it will happen... but it's nice just to be asked :)

Of course I need to tweak a few things... but that won't take long.

Pat being there will be my only requirement Kurt
