Here's a picture of Bull's South American cousin, which I'm told is a Uruguayan Cow Dog (or something like that).

What's funny is that another, smaller (and female) seemed to be "in charge".

OK GUYS (Anubias) I WAS NOT SAYING IT WAS A BETTER DOG THAN A PIT. I think it looks cool, and maybe little better than a pit. I have had 4 pits in my life time and each one has been nice and not aggressive. They are great family dogs IF you do not teach them their darker side. Pits already have a super hyper energy level and to teach them to fight becomes real easy for them to learn to be aggressive. I find that if you grow them up in a family environment, they are some of the nicest dogs. I will say, like any other dog, if they are real close to the family they will not tolerate the presence of strangers in THEIR house which is good because that makes them very good guard dogs. My pits, Gator, Duke, Princess, and Tiger were always nice, and my little nephew used to wrestle with Gator. Gator would just sit there and let my nephew paly with him. When Gator seemed to be getting tired of the playing he would just get up and leave. So TRUST me Anubias, I do like pits, and I do think they are great dogs. I just thought the picture of this dog makes him look like a real bad A**.

ok my bad then, im just sick of all the negative propaganda and exploitation that pits get tangled in...

Went over and saw Bull today. There were customers at the shop so he was chained up. Went and pet him and as soon as I turned to leave (and didn't unchain him) he turned and started growling at me. That dog hates to be chained up. Soon as Brad unhooked him, he ran up to me and wanted to play.

This pictured almost made me and my wife cry. Princess had the identical color pattern your dog has. Nice pit BTW, that is truly a good looking dog. Worth all the money you paid.

At my older age I prefer not to be tied down with a dog. I can get up and go for a day or 3.
If I have the need to walk a dog I go get my Granddogger. Course she walks me.

You guys are nuts. The best dogs are little white toy poodles. My sons best friend has a Rotwieler named Maki. Has anyone ever had a cat that brought home little rabbits or mice. Maki does that with cats and little white toy Poodles.:lol::lol:

Apologize up front to the sensetive but Maki and I have the same taste in pets. When it comes to dogs, I always thought bigger was better.

Still haven't learned not to go near him when he's chained up :p

I've had Dobes my whole life love them, refuse to have any dog but them. When my kids were still crawling they'd crawl right over the dog and she'd just lay there, maybe give them a lick in passing

I love dobies! I grew up having a Border Collie, Then had a female doberman and she was just pimp! Then mom wanted a small dog so we had a mini pin which matched her perfectly. We bred her arounf the time we had the mini pin pup and she thought it was one of hers! Such a loving dog. My aunt breeds them In L.A. and she has the red dobies right now im sooo jealous.

Like I siad im a big dog person but last few dogs have been tiny. I had a rat terrier who ran away unfortunatly and now have a Toy Fox Terrier. My next dog is for sure a Bull Terrier. I think they look awesome with how stocky they are but I havent found a breeder in the area.

Is there really a breed called a Rat Terrier. The one I knew was really small as a pup but I thought that was just what my brother called it. When I was a kid we always had at least one dog. When I was young (20) we had our most recent dog die. My mom (who was always the dog caretaker) said "no more dogs".

It was about two weeks later that most (I had 3 brothers and a sister) of us were watching TV. My brother (next in line at 19) came in and plopped in an empty chair. It was winter (Chicago) and he still had his coat on. He asked my Mom - "You serious about that no more dogs?" She said yes. He pulled what he said was a Rat Terrier out of his coat pocket and said "well I guess we'll have to kill this one."

Mom cried. Duchess spent the next 16 years in our house. Smartest dog I ever saw. We don't have Mom or Duchess anymore but my brother is still a pain in the . . . well you get it.

Yup theres Rat Terriers. Mine was the smartest dog iv owned so far. Except for the running away from home part.... He basically house trained himself we never did a single thing to teach him. He was playful yet loved to chill and as long as you wouldn't sit on his part of the couch or touch his paws if you were a female he would leave everyone alone.

Crappy Iphone pic of him

Yeah... they are older now. But yes she does breed them. I think right now she is trying to stop them from breeding at this very moment though

She needs to find good homes for 3 of them. Bad timing to be selling expensive dogs in this economy.
