Piranha

You don't really need to change bulbs, but get some floating plants to block the light. That's what I always did. You can do the black water extract if you want, but I never did as they were my show tank and most people would think it's dirty.

Riverdale pets is not actually in riverdale. It is off of rhode island ave. They specialize in big and aggressive. They have a large selection of NW cichlids, hybrids and rare pirahna.
Yes they are now in thr City of Mount Rainier know in Police circles as the dirty mile. Dont go a night.

Missed this post. Yeah, definitely. +++++1!

My friend's piranhas used to just hide from you when you dropped in goldfish. I even set up a blind one time using a chair from the kitchen, a couple of boxes and an afghan. Sat there for 30 minutes with no action.

Not sure if it was just those particular fish or the species or what, but they were pretty lame.

Another exodon movie:

I never had a problem w/ my piranhas not being active. Might be b/c the tank had no light, just lit by sunlight. They were always swimming and chasing their food down. They loved frozen pinky mice even.

p's are neat, but the exodons just have a ton of personality.

They are not that expensive to import and I coudl be persuaded if a few people were interested.

I like some of the Ps but the red bellys are the most common for schooling reasons. It is worth a trip to Riverdale simply to see Ps that you have never seen before. I wish Elongatus could school.
