Keep it simple. Don't do live plants. Don't do expensive fish. Don't do fish that hide or will freak out when people tap (bang) on the glass.

I always started out with asking whoever's in charge:
- Do you like schools of smaller fish or one or two larger ones?
- What colors do you like?
- How often are you willing to have me in here?

Funny, I went to dinner tonite at a resturant we frequent once every month or two.

The tank is a 55g Fresh water with I assume an undergravel filter. Tank is viewed from all sideds. I dont have too much experience with undergravel filters, and used powerheads when I did. There is at least 4" of pea gravel. Only one tube is barely bubbling. Everything is full of long green algae, same as last time I saw it. The fake plants look real now LOL.

The glass is clean and water is pretty clear with a slight green tint to it. Lights are very dim and gloomy. There is one German Blue Ram, one rainbow fish, A few tetras (one of each kind, a single barb, a single cory.

I asked the girl there and she said she thinks the maintainence guy comes once a week. Not sure what he is maintaining. She said they had a cool eel buy it kept eating everything. She said they had lots of coloeful fish that keep dying.

Anyway, I am going to call tomorrow to speak to the manager. Maybe I could do it.
