i am super super bummed to miss this. I wrote a brand new presentation for CCA, and was really looking forward to seeing everyone. Just got back from the doc, Chris was given pain meds to hold him over until Monday when we can see his normal specialist. They are talking eye removal or alcohol injection to his eye (to kill it, so it cannot be in pain). This has been a 7 week (so far) roller coaster, and I do sincerely apologize to everyone taht I could not make it today

To echo the others, family first and best wishes for Chris. I'm sure CCA management (of which you're one, no?) will be happy to reschedule when things are resolved.

things are going very poorly.. He is now out on disability and is having his next surgery on July 10. If that doesn't work, they are taking his eye. He is in constant pain, and can hardly function. Not much fun for any of us :(
