Next Non-fish project

Course just like the last time, the exterior wall insulation is R-7. Man that is bad. Now R-15. Best I could do with 2x4 walls. Picture is still old insulation.

Got to move a couple pipes that are now in the middle of the room now that the wall is gone.

None yet. Like usual I keep getting interupted.
Not much other progress other than the floor is now up. two layers are off.
Still need to move those pipes and close off the heat vent that is in the floor.
Then I hope to bring some of the cabinets in to figure out where everything is going.
I also hope to buy the stove top and oven this weekend along with the under counter lights. Need those so I can figure out where and what type of electric I need to run.....lol
Then hope to get started on the new walls/partial walls.

Microwave, toaster, and fridge is all I have.
wash utensils in bathroom sink.
lots of paper plates.

Well its been 2 months since the last update.
took me a while to get the electrical done.
Like I mentioned before, everything is getting in the way of this project. Been like 80 days without a kitchen so far. lol

Really wanted to go to TFP and Rachels this past weekend but had to work on it.

On Saturday I finished the last of the insulation.
Finished the electric, and
got 75% of the Durarock / subfloor installed. Man I was tired.
At 5 I went out to dinner and then after dinner went to Home Depot and bought the sheet rock. Course then I had to carry it into the house. lol

Got all of the sheet rock hung on Sunday/ with the help of my sons.

Started filling screw holes last night.
May start taping tonight.

Actually feel like I got something accomplished.

So now you know why I did not make it.

Another month goes by and still no kitchen.

Still too many things get in the way.

Plus I love eating out. lol

Two weeks ago I hosted the speaker.
Last week my Daughter was working a car and bike show at her church on Saturday and of course I got a " Daddy"
lol So I put the bike in the show. Did not win anything and it took a day but I got to ride. lol. My Grandson liked the bike too.

The sheet rock is to the point that I put on primer yesterday and need to go back and finess the mud now that I can see more stuff. lol
I hate this part.

So I figured I would work hard today on it.

A few people have asked for finished project photos.
Well, I have none because I am not even close to finishing.
I love to eat out.

A couple weeks back the Boys and I installed the flooring

And now some cabinets are going in.

And of course since this is a family thing, the youngest Kelly has to be there to supervise.

Now we discovered that we are missing one cabinet and some fillers.
So I am in hold mode again. LOL
One day I will finish.
Hopefully before the grandson graduates college.

As some of you may have noticed ( or not) I have not been on here much of late.
Been trying to get this darn project under control.
7 months now without a kitchen.

Anyway on Saturday they put the granite in.

One side of kitchen.

and the other.

Then I turned around and started working yesterday on the tile backsplash
