Does anyone think it would be a good idea to post the meeting minutes on the public forum so the public can get an idea of what the club does at the meetings?
Seems to me that when I get on here (sorry, not often) there are no members but always a guest or two. Obviously we cannot tell where they are but we seem to get a good bit of traffic. Can't the software tell us how many guest hits we get?
I have noticed the same thing. Tonight there are three guests looking at the board. There is usually at least one guest when I come here to check posts. I don't know if maybe that is sometimes members who haven't logged in, but still it would seem we get a good amount of visitors.
I agree. We do seem to get guests, only makes sense to let them know what we do at the meetings.
What about posting a list of topics, without posting the actual discussions. This could leave them hungry for more and maybe they will join?
Open to suggestions.
Ok, I don't know if any of you all have noticed this, but I have noticed a sudden large jump in the number of guests on the board within the past couple weeks. I work at home on my computer, so I usually have many chances to stop in and see if there are new messages posted. Previously there was either 0 or 1 guest, sometimes 2 guests. Last week there were often 4 or 5 guests online. This morning I think I saw 9 guests, and this evening there are 21! Have we become popular or what?
the board tracks the IP address of visitors. If someone has a random IP and one that changes/rotates it shows all IP addresses that they display while logged on. I would think there were only 2-4 people visiting when you say that, but who knows??
