I was passing around the laccrosse ball with my girlfriend. She told me to wear a helmet because I might get hit and she hadn't played in a year. But since I wanted to look fearless or whatever and never think things through I kept it off. Not long after I was nailed in the head by the ball. Confidence can sometimes get you hurt but dont be nervous and you'll have a great time

lol, va is for h8ers. We took him to DC last year and he has already done work for baltimore aquarium so I think we will hit up great falls this year.

Lol great falls cliff jumping with my buddies is one of my best memories

It looks like I'm getting a visit from my parents, and (hopefully) some help from my dad on building a fish rack while my Mom entertains Isaac.

Looks like I've also got a few new fish hanging out at Batfish that need to be picked up.

No biggie, I've been slacking on it, too.

I was contemplating throwing together something involving a grill and people, but something is telling me I should try to RELAX at least part of the weekend.

I agree, moving sux. I just moved about 6 weeks ago and I'm still not finished unpacking.

I moved 6 months ago and still haven't finished unpacking . Totally normal.

I just added to my "to do" list for the 3 day weekend. On Monday I have to take our big black dog (Monster) for a wash and... SHAVE. The combination of heat, humidity, allergies, and the thickest coat I've ever seen are giving him hot spots. I brush a standard poodle out of this guy every weekend, and he sheds a cocker spaniel in my house daily, but I still can't keep up.

Poor dude, he's going to look absurd, but hopefully feel a lot better. I guess I've learned my lesson about adopting unkempt strays with long coats and lots of itches.

Saturday we are heading to the O's game, then cooking out/bonfire that evening. Sunday is water change morning on the fish tanks and then a birthday party in the afternoon. Monday morning I am going on a 30 mile cycling ride with some friends and who knows what else will happen after that. Its shaping up to be a great long weekend.

I'm late to the game on this post......but I got back late last week from a work-related conference so my waterchange schedule is all out of whack.

So, plans include.....
- yard work (which I enjoy, so it's actually something I'm looking forward to)
- water changes
- I have some mattenfilter swap-outs to do
- hubby and I are planning on going to the glass studio for a few hours at the torch.
- clean out the garage (it's become a dumping ground for half-finished fish projects)
