Alligator Snapping Turtle/Past Pres
Started to realize that I'm getting a bunch of fry...
Ps. demasoni (spit 2/12/10) - only 5 of the little guys; luckily, have another female about to spit. First spawn for me for the species.
Ps. Acei - White-tail F1 (spit 3/7/10) - Wild caught parents. About 30 or so of the little buggers. Decent picture of the father below to make up for the really lousy picture of the fry. First spawn for me for the species.
A. jacobfreibergi - caroli (spit 3/6/10) - About 15-20 sharing the same 2.5 gallon. Caught my females holding several times, but always spit/swallowed egss. Another first species spawn!
A. baenschi/benga (spit 2/27/10, Free swimming 3/6/10) - 15 or so. First species spawn for me.
A. maylandi (one spit 3/6; the other spit during transfer, but took them back yesterday) - Not a first for me, but most of the juvies born around Christmas were wiped out over the winter by ich. Think I have about 6-8 left at around 1.5".
A. rubescens (spit early-mid December, another batch 2/20/10) - The older batch was my first.
Also have the N. venustus that I posted about the other day as well as a holding female Ngara peacock that needs pulling.
The cutteri have laid eggs again...2nd time's a charm?
I'll update the thread with pics as they grow.
