There is no tank, there is no cycle.
This repetitive ignorant drivel is becoming extremely tedious.
"Another point is growth (which is why Heterotrophic bacteria are favored for cycling products); nitrifying (Autotrophic) bacteria will double in population every 15-24 hours under optimal growth conditions. Heterotrophic bacteria, on the other hand, can reproduce in as little as 15 minutes to 1 hour."
You might try doing the math on the above. Do you even know what you're "speeding up"? Only the bacterial populations that everyone already owns if they have an existing fish tank. There is no "special" bacteria or magical organic matter for them to feed on and reproduce that cannot be supplied from an existing tank.
A tank's "bio cycle" is its bacterial colonies. Beginning, middle and end of story. Just vector in sufficient bacteria – their individual metabolisms multiplied many times over is the only cycle that really need concern anyone.
Colonize, infest, populate or inoculate, but enough with this stupid notion of "cycling a tank". There is no tank, there is no cycle. Just millions of micro-organisms who's sole mission it is to ingest and reproduce.
Put it in the new tank and soak it in seachem stability or nitromax. no matter what u doo the new tanks bio cycle needs to balance out on its own. using media from an established tank will speed it up a little but not to much.
