Long-finned Black Eyed Ancistrus Spawn

They're also sometimes also called L144s. I got three of these at the 2012 ACA meeting and they've spawned a few times, but dad ate the eggs.

This time it seems he's being much more parental (I ended up with 2M and 1F so maybe it's the other male this time).

I have a pair of short-finned L144s from Frank. They seem to be a bit smaller than my common BN's. The long-finned seem even a little smaller than that. I'm not sure if they're full grown yet or not. I'd say that right now for the long-finned varieties, their bodies are about 1.5 inches plus another inch of tail. The female is probably 2.5 inches....the largest male is probably 3 inches.

I've found that some of these other color morphs take a really long time to grow. I got spoiled by the regular BN's. :D
