Tony do you have more pics of the Aristochromis christyi and the T. macrostoma?

What sizes are they in the pics already posted?

Hey Ed,

They were little at the time... maybe 2" on the tyrano and 2.5" on the christyi. The largest tyrano is now probably 4.5" or so and the larger of the two christyi (that I believe to be male) is about 5.5"-6". I have two females that are about 8".

I'll see if I can dig up some pics. You coming down for the BBQ? I'd love for you to be able to check them out in person. :)

Here's some pictures I snapped a couple of weeks ago. Sorry they aren't the best. I find myself taking more pictures of fish in the smaller tanks because it's easier to get the lighting right.

Larger A. christyi 6" +/-

Smaller A. christyi probably closer to 5"

Not sure if this is the biggest of the T. macrostoma or not, but def one of the larger ones:

Another random shot with both fish in there

Here's a pic of a fish I haven't shown before... an 8" Placidochromis johnstoni (from Crabbymatty). Again, excuse the dirty glass and lousy photo quality.

The Tyranos aren't showing any color in these shots, but do sport some blue in the face from time to time. I believe I have 4 in the big tank and 1 gimped one (missing an eye) in a 40B with some other growouts. I'm fairly certain they are T. macrostoma.

Tony -- Great fish and great a pictures. And good for you to shout out to TFW. It's really the last of the old-school LFS around here (in no small part due to Andrew) and we need to keep it in business!
