Actually got a lot further than I thought without Crosby, Malkin, and Cooke. The only luck we'll need next year is in keeping Crosby & Malkin healthy.

I don't even like the Pens but I agree with you. It was a surprise they did as well as they did undermanned as they are. Being without the best player in the league hurts. No Caps fans, it isn't that guy.

As much as I dislike the Pens, it was a beautifully salvaged season despite loosing Malkin and that other guy.

Yeah yeah. What can I say? We're pushing hard, but not getting there. A few puck bounces the other way would probably change the face of the series significantly, but you can't blame luck for not winning playoff hockey.

I'm not holding my breath, but we'll see what happens. Hopefully, we'll at least save some face.

I Think they're playing well but TB defense is really playing better. Gotta love playoff hockey! Just about every series has had games that have been so close and could have gone either way.
