I agree! I didn't get around to getting the clown plecos :-( we should do a breeding contest like the grow out contest except with breeding.

For what its worth, my L255s and golden occies have not yet spawned. My Apistos, Nannacara, convicts, rams, and jewels have spawned, but I haven't successfully raised fry.

It's anybody's race!

What happend with the convict fry? My old pair raised like 50+ and tehy were wth other fish and the female was like 1.5 inches and i didnt do anything.

The parents are in a community tank. I think the few that I've rescued didn't transfer to their new tank well. I'm sure I'll have more opportunities.....I saw eggs again today.

What do they breed in? Stick some cichlid stones in and then move them while in the cichlid stones.

Man, I'm going to get a really long hose (several miles) and fill my tanks with whatever water you're using.

How do you have so many spawns? How many tanks do you have these days? (I feel so inadequate.)

To be fair, I got the pair of Julies from Tony...he said that they had bred for him previously, too.

My Dickfeldi breed regularly but I keep a syno. Petricola with them which makes meal of any and all fry

Yesterday was the super red Ancistrus.

Youre super reds spawned? Both my pairs have babies starting to leave the cave. My pairs both seem to have HUGE spawn of around 100 babies each time. I bid on some calico longfin super red cross that i will then crozz again to get longfin super reds.
