Dump some bleach in a rubbermaid container with a few gallons of water and submerge plants. Sit down, have a beer (you may repeat this step if necessary), check your email, yell at your husband (if you are the husband, yell at yourself), and blow a few raspberries at your kid. Rinse in fresh tap water, soak for a few minutes, then drop in an empty fish tank for observation.
