Holy Frak, more Fry!

The P. taeniatus "Lobe" pair I won at the auction 9 days ago have a handful of wigglers. I'm guessing it's a first spawn, given the petite size of the adults and the small number of fry, so I don't know if they'll manage to raise them. Judging by the number of pits in the tank, she's had a hard time figuring out where to keep them.

I also have a 2nd Nannacara aureocephalus spawn in the 20H. Of course, the last spawn (and the one before that) got eaten shortly after hatching, so my hopes are not high there.

Now if those stupid D. macs would just get to it. They used to spawn monthly under conditions where fry couldn't survive, now they spawn... never.

Honestly, I credit the banana leaves (thanks Will) and the crazy weather we've been having.

That's great! They are very prolific fish. As they age, the spawns get bigger. My original pair had about 70 back in March.
