Brother Dave,

Yes, definitely acara types. I don't know the scientific differences between adinoacara, aequidens, and krobia, but they are all very similar. My krobia are probably around 2 years old and are adult size. They are looking for a nice tank to call their own so they can get some peace and quiet to raise a family.

In the third (really out of focus) picture, you can see one of the pairs getting into breeding dress. They get the black teardrop around their eye when they are in the mood.

Ah, crap! The only reason I didn't buy it was because I thought Kevin DID buy it!

Sigh... win some, lose some...

I would think a pair would do fine in a 50 corner, both pairs may be a bit crowded. I don't keep plant myself, but I know that Tony has a pair in his 150 that is heavily planted with anubias. They will dig a bit when spawning, but I don't find them digging just for the sake of it.

Jon

Sold! I will take a pair off your hands since they seem to be plant friendly. Ill shoot you a PM to work out the logistics.

2nd pair of krobia sold.

Pete - send me a PM if you are interested. I do have another pair that I wasn't planning on selling but we can work something out if you want them.

Folks, I've got to move the catemacos. Something has really set my tank off from an aggression perspective, and I've lost 2 fish in the tank already this week. So, I've got 4 of the catemacos left (lost one and one of my melanurus), and they need a new home. Unfortunately, I've got some commitments that will prevent me from bringing fish to the meeting this month, but if you want them, come get them. They are free to any CCA member, $20 that goes directly to your membership for non-members.
