Things were all good until today:
- Gold Nugget dead (this one hurts a lot. one of my favorites, hard to find and expensive)
- 4 clown loaches showing signs of ick(white grains on fins and body)
- thropheus showing ick
- 3-4 malawis acting strange (flashing, rubbing on substrate or rocks)

cranking up the heaters to 87 for a couple of days and then bring down to 86 and keep it like that for 3 weeks.

Crossing fingers this tank does not go south.

Update:
- Temp in the big tank at 88.5 steady.
- All malawi fish look healthy
- I'll keep the temp high for another 1.5 weeks

QT tank:
- Acei with white stuff looks good. White stuff gone.
- 4 clowns look ick free. I followed KG tropicals strategy on ick and it worked.
- keeping these guys in QT for another 2 weeks just to make sure.

Yea I bought mine at about that size up in pa for $30.... I would love to set up a tank just for these guys to attempt breeding ... Not supposed to be possible but I am thinking about trying
