I will be honest, with how complicated today's game plans are I do not see what he stood to gain from a simple videotape. They change signals week in and week out. The letter of the law, sure it definitely shouldnt happen, but it happens all the time in the NFL, pay a staffer to get a tape, , only because it was the Pats was it a bigger deal than normal. I am only suprised that Belichick didnt have Google Earth dialed in to watch the practices live.
