Either way, I'm not pressed. Only ordered 8 little fish and talked to Matt yesterday. He lives about 10-15 minutes from me has room to hold them for me if we order sooner.
Hopefully, my juvie haps won't get eaten by chanchitos when I'm gone.

I do want the two lucipinnis I mentioned (I already have four from Dave), but I can't come get them at the meeting, so it would depend for me on where I could pick them up. It might just be easier for me to order them to be delivered to my house. Not sure how much I'd be saving in delivery fees anyway . . .

I like the idea of picking up from the meeting.
I have about 4-6 fish I'm interested in.

It would probably be easiest for most people if they could pick up at the meeting. That would, of course, require someone to pick them up and deliver them to the meeting.

With another (maybe) impending storm brewing for the next couple of days, I think we should push for the middle of next week.
While picking up the order and bringing it to the meeting sounds good, there's a couple of problems with this. First off, logistics and timing and stuff... when exactly will the shipment come in and how will this compare to the meeting time and time to get from the airport to the meeting?
The larger issue that I see with doing this is the well-being of the fish. Whenever I get fish in the mail, the last thing that I want to do is let them sit another 3-4 hours in the shipping bag. When I receive shipped fish, they go into a tank within an hour of receipt.
Alternatively, someone could grab the fish and house them until the meeting, but I wouldn't want to put this on someone. No one has the tank space to hold 6 other folks' fish for 1-2 weeks. Also, if something happens to the fish (sickness, death, etc), then that raises other issues.
This is getting to be a big order...Unfortunately, having been on vacation the last couple of days, I'm a bit on the slammed side. I would offer to run up to BWI, but things at work are nuts and I wouldn't be able to get out for most of a day.
Is anyone willing and able to run up to BWI, pickup the fish and meet in a central spot for pickup? If so, when? We'll work from there.

I'm going to have to pass on this order. The panamensis are tempting, but I just don't have room for them. Good luck with the order, and if anyone gets the panamensis, I's be interested in fry in later in the summer.
