D. macs spawned... AGAIN!!!

I came home from the meeting (great meeting) to find the D. macs at it again - the female was swimming slowly over a leaf and the male was following behind, then a badis would swoop in and the female would bite him in the head. I busted out my camera to take some video and they decided to go all "teen mom" on me. The female wouldn't let the male near the eggs to fertilize her last deposit, he got mad, they started chasing each other around the tank, and next thing I knew they were lip wrestling. She was fiercely trying to defend the eggs that he had decided he'd rather eat than leave potentially unfertilised. DRAMA.

Well, good thing it was on a little sword plant-let. I pulled it out of the tank and dropped it in my trusty Marina breeder box with an air stone. FINGERS CROSSED !

Alder cones that I got from Rachel today - they apparently have antifungal properties. I'm going to see what happens after 2 days. If they hatch, then at least I know they're getting that far. I'll be happy if I can get them to hatch. Even if they don't make it, it's one step further than I got before.

Not the eggs, the link

Care to elaborate?

They normally disappear on hatching day when I leave them in the tank, so I think they've been opening, but it's hard to say.

He meant that the link to the video was not working.

Oh, yeah. There are two posts. I tried to go back and edit this one to get the links right (the other post has the working links) but, for whatever reason, instead of editing this one it made a new post. VERY FRUSTRATING.
