Crabs?

Can someone clue me in on the secret to breeding dwarf crayfish? I had a dozen of the CPO and wild-color breeders, saw 2-3 tiny juvies that didn't live to grow up, and eventually lost the adults. I figured maybe I'd have better luck with the cajuns, but all 6 died off one by one w/out so much as a single berried female. I currently have a berried marmokreb in a 29 with Endler's, waiting to see how this turns out.

I give my little crayfish lots of hiding places. They get color-fast yarn or Java Moss. I have never had any trouble breeding them. They just do it. Plain tap water minus the chlorine/chloramine and toss them some sinking fish food every few days. The big ones will eat the little ones if they catch them so they need hiding places..
