Don't want to be a downer but they have the same output as mine and at times I do wish I had a bit more light. I am very happy with the qualtiy of the light compared to flourescnt. I have very dark substrate also i feel like if i had sand it would make the tank appear much brighter. Please let me know how they turn out I may be in the market for one more.
