Just stunning !!!!! So jealous !!!!!

Nothing usefull to say ... other than did you go swimming or snorkling? That water looks so warm and blue !!! I need to go diving again soon ! lol.

I hope you had fun !!![/b]

I had fun. It was all so new to me. I didn't get in the water. There were a few people wading in those places around the rocks. What I was told was that Bermudians usually don't start getting in the water until May 24th.

Hey, someone needs to tell those people that they are on the wrong side of the road.[/b]

For a moment there it was a bit scary, but after riding around for a while it started to actually make sense. Although I kept getting confused when it was time to get in the car. They kept asking me if I wanted to drive. LOL! Tourist aren't allowed to rent cars, but they can rent the scooters. Rental cars take away from the taxi service. It was amazing that the biggest vehicles there were squished versions of mini-vans. The largest car allowed is similar to a small SUV like the Ford Escape.

How big is the club? Small I'm guessing?[/b]

Yes, the club is small. I think Craig said they have 38 members. The membership falls off at the beginning of the year and builds up later. Sounds familiar...

Hey....Bermuda looks like a tropical island! You guys need to tell me these things. Pat they live on an island and have 38 members. When live in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, we should have like 500 members.

That's "Tobacco Bay". Joann and I snorkeld there. I have underwater photos of squid and a barracuda..(somewhere???)

Bermuda is absolutely the cleanest place to visit. We had more fun walking through Hamilton and popping in the pubs to join in on song and beer. It was a blast.

Bermuda is a beautiful place, but very expensive, I've been in November and February and snorkled both times, Locals thought I was crazy, Water was warmer than the air, you're fine until you get out. :) Ken

Wow! I didn't think Bermuda looked so nice and clean like that.
FYI... I believe Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones actually have a home there.

Yes they have a house there. Mr. Douglas is supposed to be Bermudian.

There is something to be said about a trapped population. Not many excuses hold up when you only have 21 miles end to end......so I am sure that once they get members they become pretty steady, also probably less turnover considering no one wants to leave, whereas here everyone "wants" to leave but cant afford to.
