Where in MD is the show? I def want to check it out. Something about fireworks. Go to a show I bet you'll be hard pressed to find someone who isn't smiling young or old.

It's in Hughesville MD. Agreed on the smiles, these guys will not only make you smile, they'll make you . That's part of the beauty of this, they get to do what they think will be awesome. Paid displays are a business, the buyer wants as much product for the lowest amount of money which is normal. By the time all the haggling and bidding is done, there are things that aren't going to make the show. Of course you'd never notice if you didn't know the difference. These guys live for this stuff, at these events they are the boss and they foot the bill to do some awesome stuff, for no other reason than to see it themselves and get high fives from their peers. It's a "lets see ya top this" kinda thing amongst this tight brotherhood. The public audience that attends gets a real treat for sure. This isn't your normal paid display. I know for a fact that the final show of the night will atleast include $100 worth of "salutes" which is nothing but a HUGE explosion in the sky. No pretty colors, no pretty patterns, just a huge flash and explosion. You send up 30 or 40 of those in a second and it almost has a flash bang type of effect :wacko: I donated the money with the sole purpose of buying strictly finale chained salutes. The guy setting up the group shoot loves me now. That's the way to a real pyro's heart, buy em finale chained salutes :wub:

This past weekend at the shoot in Bolivar, my 12 yr old son was there and helped set up all day. They let him help fire the show, he had a firing remote with 18 cues for 4" shells. Towards the end of the finale he was supposed to rapid fire the last 5 cues, part of the finale was 120 chained salutes that went up in about 2 seconds, when they started my son couldn't focus on the firing panel!!! He said his brain was shaking inside his head :lol: The guy helping him got the last couple cues up on time while Seth was :wacko:
