Great fun at today's meeting, Amy and I really enjoyed it. For anyone in the Ballamer area, it's actually closer than a PVAS meeting, and not much further than a CCA meeting, so you should come!
Bob, very cool talk! It's funny how native fish never seem to get the same interest as "exotic" foreign fish, but you really opened my eyes, and we might just try a native fish and plants tank. (Amy kept joking about how many of those fish she had caught on a hook, but never considered keeping in a tank, just whether they were good breaded and fried, ROFL).
Wow, That Fish Place is a cool store! We were very impressed. And there were some super nice killifish in the auction, Amy and I were both wishing we had a few more tanks setup at home (and that's saying something, that my wife is talking about getting more tanks!!!!). We picked up a nice long-finned BN pleco and a half dozen gorgeous Labdichromis sp. hongi Red Top.
Amy and I are now ACLCCCAGWAPAPVASers. How's that for an acronym! We had a great time, Kurt, thanks for letting us know about it!
