    Long time

It has been so long since I was at a meeting. I have so much going on right now. Girlfriend, senior year, tougher classes, my license test is Wednesday (wish me luck), work. I have never had a full schedule like this before. And I will be an adult come March. I still plan to attend the meetings...

    One more time...

Am looking/longing/absolutely pining away for a 48" dual cast iron or steel stand that will accommodate a 48" x 12" tank on the BOTTOM rails/rack An open frame wooden stand would work as well, again provided it has 48" of clearance side to side on the bottom. Able to purchase or trade some...

    1st time live planting

In the continuing saga of my up-and-coming 90(+?), I want to go green. I have less than zero experience with live plantings, so once again I'm after your advise. Don't want to go too dense, in fact, perhaps rather sparse. I want the rock and wood to dominate. I have seen individual plants sold...

Time to jump in the pool!

Hello to everyone. My name is Barry, I be from 'down the shore', just outside of Easton Md. I am 're-getting' into the hobby after many years away. Just set up a 27hex that I've had from years past, been up for about 6 wks. Just running it in with black tetras and a few peppered corys. Looking...

Angelfish trying to spawn for first time, serious problems...

...she and her mate have been going through the motions for over a month. Her belly is hugely swollen and she is increasingly prone to self-hypnosis before smooth surfaces. About ten days she stopped eating and I was thinking about dumping her back into a community tank in hopes of breaking...

Well, it is about time to set this tank up...

Okay, I am starting with a modest 55 gallon here, and I am broadening my limited knowledge with some equipment that is new to me but that I now own. I'm OLD SKOOL, yo! So, I think I will bury my newfound comrades of the Capital Cichlid Association under an avalanche of questions. I was going...

    Ram Egg hatching time

How long do Ram eggs typically take to hatch? I have a couple bristlenose plecos in the tank. Should they be removed? I removed the Mollies in the tank, but wasn't sure if it is worth tearing the tank apart to remove the plecos.

    Last time for tropheus

This is it for me and tropheus. All they do is bully each other until the dominant male systematically annihilates all the others of his kind! Just disgusted as I watched six of them in my 75 gal trickle down to three and the dominant male continues to take out the remaining two. Arghhh.

Angelfish waste no time finding a new mate.

So about 3 weeks ago i was very upset to discover one of my large female angels dead on the bottom on her breeding tank. I have no idea why she died. Well now there was a male with no mate. So I took him upstairs and back into the 125 gallon angelfish show tank he goes. While watching the tank...
