I have two groups of Labidichromis sp. 'Hongi', one group of six in an aquascaped 40 breeder, and a group of 8 in a 50 breeder. I'd like to consolidate the two groups, and was wondering what tank size you folks thought I should put them in (assuming there's lots of rocks and hiding places, etc.)?

So, at the start of this, their final week in quarantine, one of three new yellow labs is holding. We were trying to rebalance the gender ratio in the 55 (needs more females), so the good news is we at least know one is a girl. :lol: And at a little under 2in, she's a precocious one as well...

I caught a Yellow Lab female that was carrying to put in an isolation tank and she spit out 2 eggs. is this normal? 2 weeks ago I did the same thing with a different female and she released 9 fry tonight.
