Just thought I'd post a pic of my tank & my green Texas. He's really started coloring up over the past couple weeks. Don't be to hard on my tank, I know it doesn't compare to some of the other tanks I've seen but it is mine & I'm happy with it.

Ok so at a LFS i saw a blue acara. I instantly thought, green terrors. Then I read the sign. I asked and they said the lack of orange on the tail fin means blue acara. Thats as much info as I got from them. Ok so then whats the difference between these 2 fish? Just the color? Any difference in...
I know I've posted in search of some Pleco's, but think I want some Green Dragon Bristlenose with second choice being starlight or the yellow looking albino type.
Anyone have the Green Dragon's by chance?
Looking for some info on these 2. Wondering about temper, size, how they coexist with each other, others of their kind, or other fish. How hard are each to keep? I know theres some people that have kept them in "croweded" tanks, even with other fish such as Africans. I know theres always...
Easiest to see the blue........the smallest is about 4.5 inches and the largest is about 6 inches.....$10 each....I think they are all males and I have two males I am keeping already.
I was too busy with school and work, couldn't take care of these guys like before. My tank isn't cleaned and it's dirty right now.. :(

Currently house a pair of WC Kribensis, possibly of the Nigerian Yellow variant.
Otherwise, my most recent addition was a Mbuna tank that currently has Rusties and Yellow Labs in it. Looking to add more...
Hi all!
Looking forward in being actively involved here, looks like a great place to be a part of. Always had great experience with other forums of the Monster Aquaria Network.
Currently have a mated pair of WC Kribensis which may be of the 'Nigerian Yellow' morph. The female certainly...

Anyone with any experience with this fish?
I picked up a 2.5" bonded pair and the male already has the head hump.
Is this a common trait and behavoir of the species to be mature enough at this size to spawn?
Cant decide which I want to start keeping in my new tank. I've always wanted to try GTs but now I'm really wanting red ceibals. They look awesome and seem like fun to keep from what ive read. Now I can't decide. Anyone have an opinion?
Rams and/or Corys work with either?

They are probably my favorite fish that I've never kept. They've always been on my list, but haven't set up a tank for them yet.
There seems to be a lot of variation within these fish, and I'm sort of confused about what is a "True" Green Terror. I've seen some Asian line-bred fish with...

I just recently bought 2 green severums to add to my 110 gallon blood parrot tank. Both are the same size; about 3.5" and were both doing fine for the first several days. About 3 days ago I noticed one of the severums is just laying on the bottom of the aquarium leaning up against a...
So I made the food last night and cut a few cubes for my tank this evening. Question -- how long do I leave it in the tank? The fish (mbuna) are pretty regularly going for it...and protecting it a bit. Can this cause bloat? The fish LOVE the food
