It was brought to my attention that Thoricthys ellioti was not on the list. It has been added.

But, why I am making this post... is that if you know of a cichlid that is not on the list please let me know so I can add it to the list.

T. ellioti is a synonym of T. maculipinnis.

Thorichthys maculipinnis (Steindachner, 1864)

Original description as Heros maculipinnis:

Synonyms:

  • Thorichthys ellioti Meek, 1904, with type locality at Motzorongo, Veracruz State, Mexico. determiner: Artigas Azas, 1996.
