I'm not breeding them, but I think that Snookn on MFK and Aquabid had wilds on his list this week.

Aren't they seriously nasty fish?

Never heard that before but I have never kept them. I always assumed they were like other acaras - not overly aggressive but could hold their own.

It must be a different Metae. I picked up a fish labelled as such and it was one of the most meanest fish. It would chase fish three times it's size. I even had a nice pike in the tank and the Metae would run it non stop. I wrote down what it was somewhere I'll have to look it up.
