Where can I find Vals in nature?

Where can I find Jungle Valisneria: Vallisneria Americana in Mary;and ror Virginia?

They are found in local waterways. Couls somone suggets osme collecting places?

Check with Bob Bock. I think he does a lot of local collecting.

I have pulled sagittaria out of the Potomac around Marshall Hall. It's not vallisneria, but it serves the same function, kind of tall, grassy. Slower growing. Remember that if you get either don't plant them deep, just deep enough to cover the roots, they grow better that way.
