Typical result for breeding red top zebra red zebra?

I have a male Red Top Zebra (Metriaclima Emmilos?) that has produced a batch of young with a Red Zebra female (Metriaclima estherae?). The remaining four juveniles are about two inches long, are white colored, with a bit of black starting to appear on the face and caudal fin. Two are showing egg spots.

Is this an unusual pairing and are the young a typical color for this breeding?

Is it worth raising the juveniles to maturity in hopes of further breeding, or ill advised?

Pardon my uncertainty on the scientific names and breeding in general. This is my first time keeping African cichlids.
