Pelvicachromis Tank Size???

What would be a minimum tank size for Pelvicachromis rubrolabiatus"Dikiya" 2-3" -- 1 pair or 2 pair

I think Anton said that was one of the more sensitive ones (and also aggressive), so probably a 4' 55g or similar for a pair or two.

Anyone else recall from the presentation?

I thought sensitive was regarding water parameters (hardness and temp).

I don't remember exactly what he said, but I do recall that the recommended tank sizes were a lot larger than I had expected.

P rubrolabiatus and signatus are part of the humilis complex, which are larger, more aggressive fish than the taeniatus/pulcher groups. I would go at least 55 gallons for them.

He said a 25 to 30 gallon for most and the bigger species would need 40 - 75.
