Lucipinnis size okay with Africans

I want to add some Synodontis Lucipinnis in with my peacocks. My Peacocks are full grown 5 inches and I see some Lucipinnis for sale that are 3/4 to 1 inch. Will this be a size mismatch? Or will they be safe in the tank?

The cichlids will try to eat the baby Synos...and likely choke on them.

I agree with Matt. I'd grow the catfish out to 2" before adding them with adult peacocks.

I looked up "lose - lose scenario" in the dictionary and saw a picture of that.

Lucipinnis are pretty awesome, though, so if you have a spare tank, it's worth growing them out and adding them when they're larger.

Frank Cowherd might have some S. Petricola which look very similar at a safe size for your tank.
