My Green Hornwort is growing like crazy. Instead of just throwing it away I figure some of the local members here would like some.
I grow it in my sump, which is a 10 gallon tank. I have a community of Ghost Shrimp that live in the sump and use the Hornwort for mating and foraging.
Once it grows I take a very nice handful of it and move it to my display tank. The fish tend to clean it up nicely by eating any ghost shrimp or snails that were in it, and keeps my conscience healthy knowing that whatever life is living in there isn't getting tossed in the trash.
