Buying Discus Locally

Well after Saturday's meeting and talking with Ken Davis, my 'fish kids' have decided they want to add a discus to one of our tanks. We're not looking for show-quality, just good color and healthy.

We live in Gaithersburg...would any of the lfs be a good idea? Any other suggestions on finding what we're looking for?

You could go to Scales in Cloverly, MD.

What size tank are you planning to put them in and how many are you going to get?

Is the tank planted or not?

Would there be other fish in the tank?

Discus aren't cheap no matter what size you get...
