I've had a group of five for around two years now (I'm terrible at keeping track). They were fry when I got them.
Does it take about this long for spawning to happen in earnest and a male to emerge?
I thought I just had no males but tonight the biggest one has no spot on his dorsal fin and it's being courted by all the females and is trying to solicit the most aggressive female. His coloration is more pink and less blue throughout.
Does it sound like I have a male?
