180 Gallon Tank

Well here is the start of my 180. Wanted a bio type Lake Malawi tank but the wife really wanted some plants for color. So would the tank look bad with about 40 cichlids in it or would you go a different route?

With a tank that large you can do almost anything. Malawi cichlids, especially larger haps/peacocks will look great in there, even though it's not what most people consider a biotope. There are plant beds, driftwood and the like in areas of Lake Malawi...
