May you never have to utter the words, "That Geophagus dug up my favorite Swordplant again...!"

Yeah, beat 'em at their own game with the fab new Aqua Verdi Tank Planter Foliage kit! These cool acrylic planters allow you to put your favorite plants, like Aponogeton, Cryptocoryne, Swordplants, etc. wherever you want them- even in bare-bottom breeding tanks and such.

They come four to a pack, and you'll find plenty of uses for them in all sorts of situations! We love products like this that provide the opportunity for us to do things a bit differently than we've done before- and more easily- and these hit on every touch point!

They're available now!

This is great! As a corydoras keeper, I like using PFS as substrate, but I could fill these planters with a plant friendly medium and have better growth.

I've kind of done this with old yogurt containers or half-pint berry containers in the past - got the idea from Zack who was doing it to keep plants in some of his bare-bottom grow-out tanks. Just clip a hole in the lid, put the plant root through, fill container with substrate and a root tab, then root the plant and snap the lid on.

I guess it's nice someone's thought of something that does this and doesn't require digging through your trash/recycling.

Also nice not to have an old yogurt container in your tank. I've tried with other objects, but it never looked very presentable.

That is true - finding containers that will work and are short enough to hide beneath the substrate can be a little challenging.

I've used old bait containers after fishing trips. Those thin little night crawler containers hide well in thicker substrate layers. Only ever kept plants a couple of times tho. I wasn't very adept at keeping plants alive in my aquarium.

SO many ideas! I actually would like them to make a larger one that can accommodate multiple plants, so you could have an instant thicket available! Think of the value of that if you're a livebearer breeder or breed top-spawning killies! Hmm....
