Lat night, at 1045, I got a call from building management regarding a leak at my warehouse. Oh, no, you think? A tank blew, a bad water line?
No.
A gas leak.
Fire, EMS, Washington Power and Gas, building maintenance, etc., etc., all out there because of a gas leak. The main had just started pouring gas into the building for some reason .... at about 300 AM, I made it back into my bed.
Could have been A LOT worse. A lot.
The building got COLD fast, though, and I had to pull out every single electric heater I had. Oddly enough, only one caused any problems and it happened to be a BRAND NEW heater. . . stuck on and roasted a tank. Of course, brand new heaters went into tanks with the most delicate and expensive fish ...
All in all, though I can't be too upset about that. I'm upset about losing the tankload of fish, but ... the building could have exploded. So, in perspective .... Not so bad.
