looking for rarer geophagus like winemilleri, taeniopareius, satanoperca lilith, acuticeps, and retroculus :angel2:

i know some of these guys are hard to find, but i figure someone must have them and MAYBE, just MAYBE they are for sale. for these rarer ones if you have juveniles or fry i am definitely interested.

i am also interested in LARGE adult geophagus like altifrons, abalios etc. they should be 5-6" at least though...

looking to set up a nice show tank for these.

i am located in southern california, area code 92626. don't know where most of the members are, but i figure shipping would need to be factored in.

thank you and hopefully you can help me on my search here! :)

yeah i saw the list from rapps. only thing is shipping is pretty high : /
i was hoping he had the smaller grow outs still - i wanted to get those instead of getting adults, which are quite expensive!

Thanks for the advice in my Geo thread. Rapps is the only person I know right now that has them or that I've seen them recently also.

I went to Dan-Ye's site to see what she had but she didn't have any. www.americancichlids.net She is closer to you so shipping shouldn't be so bad.

Only problem is that it is rainy season in South America right now and catching these fish is not possible during this time. I wouldn't expect to see any showing up on the lists until late October/early November.

gotcha. yeah i'm probably asking at the wrong time, aren't i? haha

have you guys seen rare stuff coming in over the last several years though? i saw ONCE when someone had acuticeps like months ago - was it rapps or snook? i can't recall. but point being i really don't see much rare fish nowadays...
