I some fry at about .25-.5 inches right now. They will be ready to go in about a month or so. They arent ruti though the parent were sold to me as F1 red mwanza. Here are some pics of the father.

nitrates: about 10-15ppm

Thanks Chris, I only ask cuz I got one at the auction the last meet and he died the next day. I was thinking maybe the stress of being in a bag all day might have killed him 
The tank I put him in had the water parameters like you do. I was just trying to make sure he did not die of high ph or wrond water temp.
